XZSL Skid-Steer Loaders

Features and Benefits

The Michelin XZSL is a steel-belted radial tire with a steel casing and special rubber compounds that increase resistance to cuts and abrasions for fewer flats and longer tread life. It delivers enhanced traction and handling and a smooth, stable ride. The XZSL also features an aggressive, non-directional tread pattern that leaves fewer marks on concrete and pavement.

"The XZSL uses Michelin radial technology to eliminate many common tire problems such as fast wear and frequent flats," said George Couris, Michelin product manager. "The XZSL is specifically designed for skid-steer loaders and will deliver higher productivity, less downtime and lower tire costs for those operations."

Nyquist Landscaping Company, Chicago, Ill., has been using the Michelin XZSL on its Bobcat 743 skid-steer for about 16 months. Owner John Nyquist says he's impressed with the tire's performance. "Our commercial and residential landscaping projects require working on all kinds of surfaces - from dirt and grass to asphalt and hard cement," he said. "The XZSL has great durability, delivers excellent traction and leaves fewer marks on pavement or concrete compared to bias-ply tires."
